AFRDI Approved
Furntech-AFRDI operates a system of quality certification for furniture with an aim of lifting the quality, strength, durability, safety, suitability for purpose and ultimately sustainability through product durability. The scheme is performance and test based. The certification scheme is based on the results achieve after performing test on the furniture to ensure it meets or exceeds the following criteria.
- Strength
- Durability
- Stability
- Functionality eg. Is the product fit for purpose?
- Flammability
- Reasonable finish
The performance criteria adopted for certifications are usually based on the Australian and New Zealand standards or AFRDI standards or where these aren’t available or relevant standards such as British, CEN, BIFMA or ASTM for example.
The Innova Elite chair has been awarded the AFRDI tick of Approval because it meets or exceeds AS/NZ4699:2000.
One Important Note
Don’t be fooled by chairs that have a similar look. If they were as good as the Innova Elite Chair they would also carry the Blue Tick.
The Blue Tick certification is not awarded on looks.
Ask your Innova Group Consultant to tell you why this chair has an AFRDI Blue Tick and other similar looking chairs don’t.
FIRA Test Certificates
Supplying SUPERIOR QUALITY products is not a tag line, it’s what we actually do. These products are designed and manufactured to meet recognised standard in the industry. FIRA is an internationally recognised certification program that applies specific testing protocols to products to ensure they meet various worldwide standards. Anyone can make a claim regarding quality but our products are independently tested and the quality standard is verified.
This becomes important when you are considering the price you pay. Yes you will pay more for these products but you can be assured through quality certifications that your investment is protected. We invite any customer to visit our factory in Malaysia to access the production methods for themselves. Our competitors don’t extend the same invitation – and there is a good reason for that.
Look for our new chair ‘Comfort Rating’
At Innova-Group, we understand that sitting on any chair for long periods of time can take some doing. To help you make a shortlist from which to choose, we’ve developed our very own ‘comfort rating’.
Depending on the chair’s use, whether your guests are seated for 30mins, or in the case of a banquet, 3-4 hours, choosing the right comfort rating is paramount to guest satisfaction. As the seating period varies so much, so does the construction of the chair to cater for the various uses. You can imagine the incredible discomfort experienced if the chair you use only has a thin layer of foam on the seat base. If your guests are likely to be seated for extended periods, then you should consider a moulded foam seat and back that’s designed with lumbar support. Alternatively, if the events have a shorter duration, then a square cut poured foam chair may be suitable.
To help you through this task, we have rated every chair ourselves. Look for the easy to read STANDARD (STND), HIGH, MAXIMUM (MAX) or LUX (applicable to Gaming Stools only) comfort rating when making your selection. For instance, if you regularly hold conferences and your guests are seated much of the day, a chair with a MAX rating would be best suited. Alternatively, you might need chairs for your restaurant or cafe area so a STND rating will be just right.
